This XK120 Drop Head Coupe, owned by Jan and Leny Velthuizen from Belgum was purchased sight unseen in Georgia and shipped to Halifax for the rally. As one may expect of a newly aquired used car, it needed a few repairs, like some ignition parts and patching a fuel leak (just to mention a few). They got it on the road for a start, but not for long. A sticky valve soon caused it to be left behind for repairs.
