One day later we have an answer from another friend Garry Kemm, also in Australia:
"All these crankshafts are from Australian BMC sedans, both the Morris Major and Austin Lancer from 1958 to 1964. They all used the same crankshaft whether 1500 or 1620. The Australian 1620 engines were different from the UK 1622 engines. The Australian 1620 engines had the same 3.00-inch bore but the bottom end was not updated to the stronger UK 1622 specification with narrower centre main bearing and thicker webs". -- Cheers, -- Garry
That means any of these casting number cranks will fit into any 1500 or 1600 or 1620 engine, but not for the 1622 engine. Beware that these may not have the same strength specifications as those for the sportier cars, so maybe not so good for competition cars.
