Note:
This stud is item number 19 in the illustration at right, used to secure the brake circuit 5-way fitting to the chssis side member. MGA 1500, 1600, and 1600-MK-II cars have the brake light pressure switch with tapered pipe thread in the top port. MGA Twin Cam and ARDB models have the pressure switch with tapered pipe thread in the inboard side port (different brass fittings). There are three different part numbers for this stud, all interchangeable. FHS0401 is the later standardized part nunmber. Picture of the stand alone stud here is close but not exact configuration.
