ADJUSTABLE SHOCK ABSORBER, FRONT #1 - FS-120
MGA adjustable Variflo shock absorber, made by Bletchley Eng Works of Slough England.
Up front this looks very much like the standard Armstrong fixed rate hydraulic damper, but in the back the casting is different, incorporating an adjustable flow valve. These units are exceedingly rare, and no, I don't know where to find any, but this one (one only) popped up on eBay (May 2005).
This is not the only type of adjustable shock absorber which was available for the MGA. I have seen adjustable valves which fit in the normal valve position in a standard Armstrong shock absorber.
