This is a project undertaken by Christopher Steingrube (GrubeGuy on the MG Experience MGA Forum) to build an MGA bodied cargo trailer to be donated to Make-A-Wish foundation. Started in December 2021 with a cast-off body shell from an MG MGA car, nearing completion in June 2022.

At time of this posting in mid June 2022, the trailer is in primer paint, about to be listed for sale or auction. Part of the deal may be the offer to paint it in any color of your choice, if the buyer will provide the paint. It is being requested that the buyer should send payment directly to Make-A-Wish foundation. All time and out of pocket expenses (a lot of expenses) to build this trailer will be the personal donation of GrubeGuy. As finished, and sold on www.bringatrailer.com on 10/17/2022 for $3,300-USD, which is far less than the out of pocket money invested to build it (not to mention all the free labor time), so the buyer got a real sweet deal. The builder/seller paid the listing fee. The buyer's premium was donated to the charity by bring-a-trailer auction site. A fair amount of additional money was donated to the charity by many individuals. As date of sale $4,306 was raised for the Make-A-Wish foundation (and more donations may arrive later).
