The MGA With An Attitude

The Arctic Oil Field Hotel was our choice of home for a day. We intentionally avoided the $130 per day and $18 per meal places that cater to the few tourists arriving here. We wanted to hang out with the "real people" to get a good flavor of life at the end of the earth. Accomodations here were $65 for a single, $100 for a double, and included everything you needed for daily life. The laundromat was free, the recreation hall was free, and the meals were also included. And good meals they were, too. Being a long ways from other civilization, one thing the locals demand is good quality food. And I suppose we must have eaten enough food to cover the entire fee for the lodging.
