While we were on the river that day, there arose a rumble of thunder in the Kenia Penninsula, a seldom witnessed event that took the guides by surprise. Shortly thereafter there was a huge lightning strike on the mountain side above us, and the guides were totally awe struck, having never before seen lightning in the Kenia Penninsula. But it didn't surprise us a bit. Say guys, you see that Little British car up there on the river bank? Well, wherever it goes, so goes the British weather.
