K&N AIR FILTERS -- CB-201-09

Here it is all reassembled again with the new K&N filter snuggled nicely inside, and looking very much like the original filter assembly. About this time you might consider which way around you like the expanded metal screen for asthetic purposes. I like to position it with the outer edges of the mesh leaning toward the engine so that when you lean over the fender to look into the engine bay you see mostly the painted metal screen and not much of the filter element, as shown in this picture. When you look in from the opposite side of the car, looking across the top of the engine, you will then see more through the mesh of the screen. You will have a good view of this effect in the last couple of pictures coming up.
