A close-up of the kit materials is shown below. By now the shiny bits are familiar as Lift-the Dot fasteners and turnbutton eyelets. The 2 triangular pieces with the spiral nails are end caps for the finishing strip. The narrow finishing strip is just above that. The fabric piece under the hardware is the header rail wrap, and here you can see the small flap of fabric that will ultimately extend down over the top edge of the windscreen frame. Just to the right of the end caps are a pair of what appear to be male snap fasteners with wood screw or sheet metal threads. These were a bit of a mystery, and will be revisited later near the end of this installation.
