Looks like it may be street legal, if you paid for the registration and put the tags on it. After the initial knee-jerk reaction, I'm thinking someone did a pretty nice job of the fit and finish and the trim level. Not as ugly as most hashed together monster cars. It's beginning to grow on me. I'm tempted to take a 10 minute go-anywhere off road jump in the thing, just for the one time life experience. It will definitely ride and handle like a Jeep, but lighter weight like an early aluminum body Land Rover. I wouldn't buy it, not my life style, but I wouldn't want crush it either. Someone will like it as a weekend warrior toy.
