MGA Twin Cam header tank installation pressure cap bottom side
The ARH1022pressure cap (4-psi) for the MGA 1500 and earlyTwin Cam was changed to ARH1039 (7-psi) in mid 1600 production, and changed again to AEH1542(7-psi) for later 1600 and Twin Cam cars. By factory recommendation, always use 7-psi pressure cap for all MGA.

Later production TwinCam cars were fit with a remote pressure relief valve mounted on the body, at which time the cp on the header tank was changed to a blanking cap.
