This is the place to find information on replacement parts of sub-standard quality that have failed in service, been a misfit, or are otherwise not suitable for use. If you have any additional information on problem replacement parts (MGA applications only) please send pictures or other documentation to me, and I will endeavour to post it on these pages. Any reports on updates or correction of these parts problems are also welcome.

FT-023 - BAD REBOUND STRAPS and rear leaf springs (Still junk after 2 years)
FT-022 - BAD RUBBER - Front Suspension A-arm Bushings
FT-021 - Master Cylinder REBUILD KIT front seal. (aftermarket piston)
FT-020 - BAD RUBBER - Grommet for carb float bowl. (this has been fixed)
FT-019 - BAD BULB HOLDERS - wiring harness. (you can fix it)
FT-018 - BAD RUBBER - Font Suspension Seals. (fixed, but check your parts)
FT-017 - SILENTBLOC BUSHING is Too Short. (interim fix)
FT-016 - Bootlid RUBBER SEAL does not fit properly. (new source)
FT-015 - Ragtop FRONT WOOD BOW does not fit properly.
FT-014 - FRONT COCKPIT RAIL rubber strip too thin.
FT-013 - Repro "Lucas" PL700 TRIPOD HEADLAMPS - poor quality.
FT-012 - TURN SIGNAL JEWEL Has Wrong Thread. (new lamp "kit" works)
FT-011 - OIL PIPE ADAPTER FITTING does not fit. (this has been fixed)
FT-010 - STEERING U-JOINT snap rings do not fit. (this has been fixed)
FT-009 - GEARBOX MOUNT Doesn't Fit. (this has been fixed)
FT-008 - OIL DEFLECTOR does not fit with VALVE COLLAR. (do not use)
FT-007 - Misfit REAR HUB O-RINGS. (part numbers corrected).
FT-006B - Another poor fit VELAS windscreen glass. (use a different part)
FT-006 - Not so PERFECT GLASS windscreen. (use a different part)
FT-005 - Soft MANIFOLD STUDS stripping threads. (this has been fixed)
FT-004 - MGA STARTER SWITCH failure mode analysis. (need more feedback)
os FT-003B - Broken ALLOY VALVE SPRING CAP on an MGB. (new source)
FT-003 - Broken ALLOY VALVE SPRING CAPS for engine valves. (new source)
